Can you use a different ground meat ?
I love the rich flavor of these beef burgers, but any ground meat will work well. Chicken or turkey are great healthier options that are lower in fat.
What’s the best way to cook burgers?
I love the ease of cooking the burgers in a grill pan on a stovetop. Just add a little oil, let it get hot, add the burgers and cook through, flipping once. You can also oven cook them at 400F / 200c for around 15 minutes, or in the air fryer, at the same temp, for around 10 minutes. In the summer, be sure to pop these on the grill to cook!

To make the Mexican-style burgers you will need ground beef
I am giving this three stars instead of two because I mixed the cream cheese into the burger instead of filling plain burgers with spicy cream cheese. Maybe as written it would be better. But actually, I think that mixing the jalapeño cream cheese in was all that gave the meat flavor. Add salt, pepper, garlic, and other seasonings to the meat and it *might* be a four-star recipe. As is it was wildly dull. I used fresh jalapeños; jarred might be better. I also used garlic herb cream cheese, but the extra flavor didn’t help.
