Tuna Salad with Cranberry
This unusually delicious combination of tuna and tart, sweet dried cranberries takes plain old tuna salad to a new level. It’s an easy lunch to pack up for work-simply eat it with a spoon or toss the tuna with mixed greens. Potentially elevated mercury levels have turned canned tuna into an occasional meal, not something I’d eat every week. However, it’s a convenient protein-rich meal that can be enjoyed on occasion.
- Celery Stalks 2 Pc
- Red Onion ¼ Cup
- Canned Tuna 12 Ounces
- Mayonnaise ¼ Cup
- Dried Cranberries ½ Cup
- Simply mix ingredients together in a bowl.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Canned tuna: We use Wild Planet’s Albacore tuna and love it! I’d suggest using tuna that’s canned in water or its own juices for the best flavor.
What is Cranberry Tuna Salad ?
Cranberry Tuna salad is a beloved sandwich filling that can be made with canned tuna or cooked ground meat, vegetables, and mayonnaise. It is a delicious, easy-to-make dish that can be served on its own or on top of bread. The ingredients are mixed together in a bowl until the mixture has thickened slightly. Look for tuna packed in water rather than oil to get the most flavor out of your tuna salad recipe!
