Chocolate Sheet Cake is good family cake that keeps well.

  • Superfine Shugar 1 Cup
  • Soft Margarine 1 Cup
  • Eggs 4 Pc
  • Milk 4 Tbsp
  • Self-rising flour,sifted 3 Cups
  • Cocoa Powder 3 Tbsp
  • Milk chocolate  Cup
  • Dark Chocolate  Cup
  • White Chocolate  Cup

  • Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch cake pan with a little butter or margarine.
  • Place all the ingredients in the order listed, except the chocolate chips and confectioners’ sugar, in a large mixing bowl and beat together until smooth.
  • Beat in the milk, dark, and white chocolate chips.
  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared cake pan and level the surface. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30-40 minutes. until risen and springy to the touch. Cool in the pan.
  • Once cool, dust with confectioners’ sugar. Cut into squares to serve.

My easy chocolate sheet cake is basically perfect. So fluffy and FULL of chocolate flavor, without being oily and sad like so many store bought cakes. A nice dollop of fudge transforms this buttercream into something almost magical but if you don’t have any handy try adding in some ganache!
