To bake the cakes presented on this Site, you don’t have to be a Cooking Club or a professional cook. You don’t even need prior experience in the kitchen. All you require are the basic skills and tools of home baking. You can pick up the skills by reading this book and other cookbooks, asking advice from friends and neighbors, watching people cook on television and in cooking classes, and best of all, by getting out a bowl and spoon and learning by doing. Baking is fun and interesting, which is why I have been doing it since I was ten years old.
